Aftermareket systems??????????????
I have a Pioneer 9200 series head unit which I received for christmas and have not yet had it installed..... I am debating on it b.c people told me that the stock amp is built into the stock radio there fore if I change radio's I will loose all my wattage... is this true?????
if so would I be better off by going with a complete aftermarket system from pioneer or could i just get a good amp and wire it up like the stocker????
do you guy.z have a prefernce of types of amps or speakers????
I like pioneer and will probably be adding a dvd player and tv in the future

Re: Aftermareket systems??????????????
I have 2 pairs of Diamond components, two polk 12" subs 1 5-channel MTX Amp. Its just lyin around though. I have'nt had time to hook it up yet but ill let you know how it sounds. I would not use the factory amp it claims it has alot of power but i think its a load of crap. Get a 5-channel and power the whole system.

Go with all aftermarket, but I would stay away from Pioneer! Get some MBQuart component speakers, and a MTX Thunderform, or something. I am running that, with a 500 watt Hifonics Zeus Z500 D class amp. It sounds awesome! <img src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" border="0">
