Default window tint

Im gonna be getting the windows on my 94 z28 tinted soon, im not positive on the laws here in az as far as how dark to go but i have a lot of friends that have 5% limo all the way around there cars. My question is does anyone have pics of 20% and 15% to hopefully give me an idea of the darkness of the tint. I did a search but couldnt come up with what im really lookin for and most posts didnt have pics.

Find out what the legal limit is first. Be smart and stay legal or pretty close. TRUST ME.

found out its 33% but screw that whats the point of even having it. The rear window can be as dark as i want but the fronts need to let 33% of light come through. I think ill go with the 15-20% so does anyone have pics of that? thanks guys

Ha, ha. . . Legal tint limit here. . . No one really cares, I think the pigs here only get pissed when you have solid limo.

50% on the sides is the limit in Ohio. Though I don't know if it really gets enforced.

Has anyone tried the mirror tint on both side windows and keeping the back window dark tint?

I had 5% all the way around before. To drive at night, I had to roll down the side windows to see if anyone was on the side of me and such. When it rained at night...it was really scary =(

I'd suggest not getting 5% if you actually want to see at night.

30% tint isn't dark enough, but thats just me. I had 35% a while ago and removed it. Now I have basically 15% all around. 5% out back would be fine to but don't go 5% on sides, you'll be blind at night. When you get pulled over just be sure to roll your windows down before they come up to you and usually they never say anything.

35% on front windshield and 5% on the rest. 35% or 50% is just WAAAYYY to light in my opinion. Hell most suv's come with 15-20% from the factory. All my cars are limo, even my boat! I can see out just fine unless its in a dark *** parking lot.

Depends on the cop but whenever I take my 94 back(still legal resident), I give it 5 days and I'll get pulled

5% on the sides and back

Unless you have problems seeing at night, 15 and 20% should be no problem seeing out of at night.

And 98boxer, IMO the mirror tint on the doors and standard (black) tint on the back window would look like ***.

The sides are no problem to see out of at night. It takes some getting use to but its not a problem.

Now I cant see **** out of the hatch with 5% on it at night haha. I just make sure I look at whats behind me before I get in the car and back up so I know how much room I have
