Just put on Z5, got a "?" though... This was my first time putting on Z5 today. I have previously used Z1 and Z2. Z5 is suppose to take out the swirl/marks in the car. It looks okay, but i thought more of the swirl marks would be gone. About how many coats of Z5 will i need to apply for the swirl marks to disappear?

Re: Just put on Z5, got a "?" though... Well we mixed z5 with the zfx and it took about 2 coats and we noticed a major difference....just do 3 and you should be able to tell...the zfx does help out though because you can do 3 one after the other in less than an hour...

Re: Just put on Z5, got a "?" though... My dad's SS had a LOT of swirl marks in it when I picked it up at the dealership. It currently has two coats of Z5 w/ ZFX added, and you can't even see them. One more coat wouldn't hurt. Then again, one more coat of Zaino never hurts. You've gotta love the smell of Z5! <img src="gr_grin.gif" border="0"> <img src="graemlins/fluffy.gif" border="0" alt="[Fluffy]" />

The ZFX allows you to put mutiple coats on in one sitting and it also makes the z2 or z5 bond with the clear coat, when you get this product you will never have to use z1 again...it also allows you to use it in cold weather FINALLY!
You get a little dropper with the ZFX in it, and 4 2oz. mixing bottles...I can get 3 coats on the car with only 1 oz. of Z2....
for every oz. of z2 or z5 you use add 4-5 drops of ZFX...then you have to mix it until you don't see it anymore....the drops of ZFX are blue so when you don't see blue anymore, you can apply on the car...
In a heated garage, the part of the car I started on had already dried before I could finish the rest, in the cold garage, it was 28 degrees, it took 15 mins for each coat to dry.... <img src="gr_eek2.gif" border="0">
