Default interior detailing

We just picked up an '07 300, and it is in need of some interior detailing. What do you guys recommend for cleaning vinyl/ leather?

depends on how bad it is. general spiffing up, use something like a turtle wax dash cleaning wipes. theyre good for light cleaning. i only use them in my truck or other cars for when there is actual dirt on the plastic, like the sills from my boots and such.

leather, try meguiars leather cleaner, then a conditioner. there are other leathercare products that are used for things like furniture and clothing, which i can assume would be fine for cars too.

Zaino makes some awesome leather cleaner. Well worth the money.

I usually use black magic's interior protectant/shine for the vynal areas.

Thanks guys. Its not bad, it just pisses me off when you spend good money on a car and the dealership hands it over in a hurry. I think I still have some Lexol left over for the seats but the center console armrest needs a good cleaning.

lol...

No. You need soap and water... A good scrubber too that will dig in but not damage the skin. Then use whatever leather-specific cleaner/conditioner of your choice. From then on, those products should be used monthly to maintain and keep it clean.

I'll try cleaning with some Dawn and a bristle brush. I just don't want to end up with a faded piece.

Hmmm... Test the Dawn first in a small area for color-fastness... Brush can't be rough too. Good luck.
