How to install side skirts

How to install side skirts I purchased some side skirts to install on my bird and it didn't have
ground effects before.
It has metal facets/tabs through the center and screws on each end.
My bird doesn't have holes for the square facets or screws.
These are not the self pilot screws that run along the bottom side
but from the inside of the skirts
The screws look like your suppost to be able to tighten them from
inside the body but how do you get into the body to do so and how
do you make the square holes for the facets?
I've never installed ground effects before and it seems like and odd
job to me. I need some info on how to do it.
I live in Austin Texas if anybody local would like to help me figure it out.
