warranty on ragtops

warranty on ragtops My dealer is telling me my top is not covered under warranty. My TA only has 33,700 miles and they have fixed other stuff, but not the top. The car is still in the shop so I can't check the manual. Has anybody else tried to get warranty work done on the top? <img src="images/icons/confused.gif" border="0"> <img src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" border="0"> <img src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" border="0">
Re: warranty on ragtops That sounds like complete BS! Everything is covered on the car so long as it's defective and you didn't break it. I'd call another dealer and ask them.

Re: warranty on ragtops The thread at the rear(mainly)and the sides are getting loose. I guess you could say seperating at the seams. Around the rear glass is the most obvious. I had gone by an upolstery shop about 3 months ago for something else and they pointed this out. They had about a month waiting list so they didn't need business. I've only used product recommended by Haartz and followed there directions. Sorry so long.
Re: warranty on ragtops I've had the same type of experience getting any warranty work done on my conv't. Since I was the 2nd owner on the SS, they pull some **** that the warranty no longer applies; and more importantly, they said that that was normal wear and tear!!!!
