Default Sunoco hood and changing wiper blades

Stupid question, but do I remove the VFN Sunoco hood to replace my wiper blades? Or is there some technique to changing them out without taking the hood off? Man, I'd hate to have to realign the hood.

ever think of turning your wipers on and then turning the car off when they are up?

I did that, its still somewhat of a pain though, with the drivers side. It can easily be done, just much easier with the hood off.

Does it overlap that much? I just buy the whole assembly and snap it in. Not too hard at all. But I don't have the sunoco hood.

Don't feel like an idiot. You can only raise one side off the passenger side while the driver side hits the cowl.

I would never let the wife know she was right.

Yeah it was the driver side that gave me trouble. Oh well, next time it should be easier.

y'know i was wondering about that to on the wipers thing, but i got a better question can you take the wiper arms off with a vfn sunoco hood?? Reason im asking is i was planning on getting my cowl pieces cleared because they are straight up dull looking....and hoping i dont need ot take the hood off just to do a small task like that...

That's because you have a ******* extended sunoco, which is a race only application. Look at the picture in your signature!

I'm sure it is, but look at how far it extends to the windshield. No wonder he's having a hard time....lol.
