Got stopped by a picky cop!
Some state laws specifically mention having an exhaust cutout installed as a no no, tho with how low our cars sit I doubt that many cops will make the effort to look underneath

Driving with a cut out isnt unnecessary, its a public disturbance. I'd kill a neighbor if they constantly had a cut out open.
As stated before I think you only need one functioning taillight depending on your state. If so you wont need to find the other side.

Leave it to Cops to find something to bother you for. I run around with Black Outs as well I leave the Rev. Light white though. (Doubt it changes anything) but I live in Tucson, AZ and they have been behind me many times, never said anything to me but I know they could if they felt like it.
(I have gotten stupid pull overs quite often for other things... cops here seem to have nothing to do but try and find ways to issue tickets)
I personally like a small select few of cops but most are dicks out to cause problems. Hints why I make sure to try and keep my cars stock and clean looking to be ignored. (And quiet when I can help it) I like to be lost and forgotten after playing around with body kits and everything else on other cars.

think about that and how you would feel if there were no cops. besides the fact that you probably wouldnt exist, nor would anything cool like cars, nice cars for that matter.
but imagine for a minute that you do exist, you have your nice little f-body, but there are no police. now someone steals your precious car......who is going to give a **** besides you?
changes things doesnt it. not all cops are ******. some, if not most, care about the public. but there are exceptions to the rule, because there are a lot of arrogant punk cops that hide behind a badge and a gun. and they give a bad name to police officers.
that statement should be more used, instead of the whole "**** tha police"
jsut thought id put that out there for all the ignorant people that think the police are out to get them. if you have a problem with the law, contact your local congressman, dont take it out on the law upholders. or just dont break the law that works just fine.

So my other TA that got stolen about 2 months ago and the Cop did not even look where it was stolen from just gave me a piece of paper and said good luck its gone... Yeah they really did something for me now didn't they?
Ignorance is believing that when you call they will care, 75% of the time it takes forever and they are not there nor do they care. I know quite a few here in AZ who can recall the same problems one named Chris is around in Phoenix who can tell all about his only they found it eventually... Mine is still MIA. Thank god for insurance.

Well, the majority of this thread has been a discussion about either the legality/performance of cut-outs or the fact that seemingly all the kids on this site don't like cops...neither of which has anything to do with Appearance and Detailing. Closed.
