How to remove TRANS AM door emblems

What is the best way to get the emblems off? And how hard is it to remove them???

I did it yesterday while washing my car...i used a spatula dn it worked very well...

Except, oops i didn't think about my dorr being repainted, so now u can REALLY see where the letters were on my driver side...

Could the body shop like wet sand this smooth or something?
