Default NOS Bottle Mounting Ideas....

Well I am getting ready to put a NOS kit on my car and would like to see how some of you have your bottles mounted. Its a show car and the kit is there "for show"...so I really dont want to hide it. Although the spare tire area is kind the best place for it it looks like.

I like to show up weapons drawn:

I know you're a car show guy, so I would imagine this is the way you would want to mount yours

What kind of mount is that? Did you just bolt it to the hump?

Normal bottle brackets with the front mounted on top of a black box to clear the cup holders. Most people use the hump mount but I thought it was too flashy for just the mount

May want to check the nitrous section, there's a thread with hundreds of replies with this stuff.

Here's the mount and I'm pretty sure there's one up for sale in the parts classified section right now:

Harris speed works also has a nice design:

i also did the hump mount, and i have no regrets. this pic is blurry because it was kind of dark when i took it. i think it can look very clean. im going to mount the harris bracket on top of the nitro daves bracket. its gonna be sweet.

i put mine on the hump as well. just got a couple peices of aluminum and bent them up then bolted them to the seat belt bolts. i usually have a bottle blanket on it but this shows you everything. if i keep it im going to paint the bottle greay to match the interior and get the aerospace dual bottle bracket and mount 2 of them there.

Go with the harris speed design since its for a show car and not a track car. Looks much better.

For you application (you don't care for police attention etc.), I'd probably mount it above the fuel tank. This would probably look better with 2 bottles...

Did you bend your own lines??? How hard is it and what do you need...that looks 10xs better than the braided ones!

yes i bent them myself. it took me an hr. and i didnt make a template first with a coat hanger which would have made it easier to figure the bends. it was actually 100x easier then it looked or i thought it was going to be.

Did you use on of those line bending tools? Also how do the line ends fit on...is there a compression fitting on it like a oil gauge sending unit or do you have to flair the ends of the line like a automatic transmission line is?

I would love to go with the hard lines and have them chromed with chrome fittings...I have a chromed Weind intake going on soon so that would look great!
