Since its the only hood I found I like really its worth the trouble I think, but better to listen to someone that went throguh it...

2ktrans...thanks for the compliments...that's a tough question...I guess the answer is...I guess so.
But, I'm still debating on what to do if/when I ever get in an accident. Unless Mecham's quality has improved (which I haven't heard either way), I'd be tempted to go with the raptor hood...
It's sort of a catch-22: if you're one of those people who loves to make their car look good & unique, then you love the attention that this hood gets. However, if you're that type of person, you also hate the imperfections & bad fit.
It's a real pain that I don't want anyone else touching the hood 'lest they crack it...I'm afraid to drop the car off at the dealer to get the failing power window motor replaced for fear that they'll open, close, and break the damn hood... <img src="gr_sad.gif" border="0">
