Default Debadging SS emblems Question about the SLP grill
The previous owner went wild and made my Z28 a full blown appearing SS. I am currently working on my smoothed tail panel with a 69 Z/28 emblem and plan to go the same route with the fenders. For the front grill I plan to remove the SS emblems as well, but I've noticed the SLP bowtie grill has a different shape to it, to match the bowtie emblem.

If I can get a hold of the bowtie emblem for the grill, will it fit on the original SLP SS style grill or not? Any suggestions of a different bowtie to go with if it wont fit? I do not want to have to buy a new grill, but I need to find an emblem that will fit in that small spot. Thanks!

judging by pics of both grills, i don't think it will fit. let me know if u need a stock "camaro" grill, i have a few

Thanks guys, I do not want to switch grills, so I think I am going to just look for a small bowtie emblem. I wish the previous owner hadn't gone all out like this! Any suggestions on a small bowtie?

i just checked, its around 3.25" x 1.25"

Quick question before I go and order an emblem. The SS on the SLP grill, is it just adhered on or is it mounted with holes?
