Need Reccomendations
I'm ordering a set of Weld Pro Star, 15 x 10 x 4 3/4" BP, 7.5" BS
I was going to run a 28 x 11.5 MT ET Street tire on it, but what would you reccomend? Will I be able to get good 60's with a 26" tire? My best MPH has been 120 with a 2.3 60'. I'm also upping to a 150 wet shot, so if that makes any difference. Thanks.

Whether or not the ET Streets will work for you will greatly depend on how well the starting line is prepped at your track. Having a 28" tire will net more sidewall and will help with traction, but you're going to be hitting the tires pretty hard off of the line w/ a 150 shot. How well does your track typically hook? If it's pretty crappy, then a set of ET Drags or Hoosiers wouldn't hurt. I think Hoosier even makes a 27" slick that might work pretty well for you.

Re: Need Reccomendations
Thanks. My 60's are really crappy. I have never been able to net less than a 2.0, and with a 12.2 @ 119MPH I had a 2.1 60'. I would like to go with MT Drag's or Hoisers, but the reason I was thinking about ET Streets is cause I will prolly have to drive on the street sometimes, like when I meet with friends on the weekend, or the frienldy street race <img src="gr_grin.gif" border="0"> That's the main reason for the ET Streets. Thanks.

Re: Need Reccomendations
Will a 13" wide tire, ie the M/T 28"x13" allow for better traction. or am i getting in way over my head, and should just stick with the 28"x11.5" Thanks.
