Question manta stripe cut-out

im about to order a manta stripe kit for my car, and wanted to get some opinions on what cut-out i should get. if you look at this picture, you can see where it would be (the 525 HP).

I'm not going to do the hp because ive never had my car on the dyno and i plan to do more upgrades in the future. so here is what im thinking,

5.7L
LS1
#1122 (my cars build number)

what do you guys think?

I like the stripes, don't really care all that much about putting info on them though looks kinda cheap. Besides everyone already knows your car has an LS1 and is most likely a 5.7 or at least was when it came from the factory. My vote goes for keep it simple manta stripes look good just the way they are.

if you have a true ss, showing the build number on the car is not "ghey".

IMO it really is, how is a few numbers from a mediocre company that put a spoiler, hood, intake+exhaust really that cool? I mean I love SS's as much as the next guy but like I said putting the build number on the outside of your car is a bit tacky...IMHO

you already decided to get the manta stripe? I want the manta too, but I don't know yet if I'll buy the stripe or paint it...

As for the stripe I'd leave it like that without any cutout

yup definitely going to get the manta stripe for the hood and the rear, i think it looks sweet. I'd like to get my car painted in a year or two so if i like the decals ill just get it painted on as well

hmm, that's a good idea. I think I'll take the manta stripe first too and see how I'll like it.

Where are you buying it? Did you already decide if you want it with a cutout or not?

What do you think of an SLP cutout?

im going to get it from here http://www.3rdgendecals.com/Manta.htm

as for the cutout... ive decided to not got anything cut out. this gives me the option to try different decals over the manta.. and if i don't like them they aren't permanent like a cutout would be

I would do the build number as it is the one thing that will never change on your car. 5.7, LS1, and etc can become outdated with upgrades....
