has anyone actually dyed their carpet black? I have 2 carpets one is ebony and other one is grey for my car when im done with paint. I was curious to see if anyone has actually dyed their carpet and what results did you have by doing this. seeing if it wore away at all and etc. was thinking of dying my carpet and my partial headliner since my SS is a vert. My interior is all ebony

yeah i tried doing my old mats with black rit dye. the problem it that they are polyester or whatever and it doesnt soak in. it made em darker, but with a purple-ish tint
