Rust Prevention in Chrome Exhaust Tips....
A guy who sells Flowmasters says a cheap way to keep steel chrome tips from rusting is to every once in a while spray the insides of each tip with high temperature paint. Has anyone ever done this? Does this sound nuts?

Re: Rust Prevention in Chrome Exhaust Tips....
I did it with my Hooker tips. Seems a lot of other people have done it as well. You can paint the insides of the tips black or clear, then paint the outsides in clear coat. Seems to have been working fine for everyone who tried it.

Okay, now I feel better. My car had very low miles when I bought it used and the Flowmaster guy (great guy, owner of Exhaust Systems Hawaii) said since the car was hardly driven, it had a lot of moisture in the exhaust. Thanks for the help!
