Will it buff out....?
Will it buff out....? I have a pinstripe down both sides of my 98' NBM Z28. I want to remove it. My question is, how bad of a line is going to be visible, if any, when I peel it off? It has been on there for probably about 1.5 - 2 years? Will it buff out, or will Zaino or anything like that fix it?

Re: Will it buff out....? I guess it all depends on how you've kept the condition of the paint for that time....If you are always waxing and polishing the paint won't really fade....but if you really didn't pay much attention to it and let it just go there will be a noticeable line there....

Re: Will it buff out....? I would think either way no matter how well you kept the paint clean/protected there will be a difference just the question is how much because of Sun and other factors.
Re: Will it buff out....? If there is a line, you'll just have to keep the body waxed all of the time so it would be harder to notice it. Kind of an incentive to keep your Camaro clean all of the time <img src="gr_grin.gif" border="0">

Re: Will it buff out....? I removed the Ram Air from the front of my car after almost 2 years and there is not a very noticable difference. A little TLC and I bet you could make it look as if the stripe was never there. Just take your time and have something to heat it with handy.
