Steering Wheel Replacement
For those of you that have removed your stock air bag equiped steering wheel. If you weighed it how much? Some have replaced the stock unit with a Grant wheel, what installation kit did you use? And did you need to modify the kit fot it to work. I would be interested in any aftermarket steering wheel information, not just Grant. Thanks.

Re: Steering Wheel Replacement
When I replaced my wheel, my first choice was Grant, but they wouldn't talk about an adapter for a non air bag wheel and I couldn't find one. Since then, I've seen a post on this board or on LS1.com from someone who did find a Grant adapter. I subsequently bought a LeCarra wheel and adapter from http://www.julianos.com The problem with it, and also with the Grant adapter was that they were both too long and needed to be shortened, mine 3/8", in order for the wheel to seat properly. Make certain the wheel does seat and torque to 25fp without the adapter binding up. You can disable the airbag light by inserting a 2 ohm resistor in the connector on the yellow air bag wire. I've also seen a pic of a MOMo wheel installed in an Fbody.

Re: Steering Wheel Replacement
I've got a Billet Specialties wheel in my car. I used their non-airbag adpater and everything bolted up easily.
