Default "Glossy" high temp paint?

I tried using a little bit of 1500 degree high temp paint out of an old can I have on the tensioner bracket. It looks real dull to me. How is everyone getting that shine when they paint the calipers? What kind of paint u be usin? <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0">

I used Plasti-cote Universal Black. It looks like a gloss black to me. Also I put a couple of coats of High temp clear on my calipers also.

Try using the high temp clear coat that will make it a glossy look to it. I've done it to my 3rd gen wheels, Z-28 exhaust tips on the RS and they turn out great.

You don't need to use the 1500 degree paint for brakes. Use a lower degree paint and you may be able to find one with gloss.
