Re: Does everyone have a hard time keeping.... This is something that drives me nuts. I was cleaning the car a couple weeks ago and had a bottle of Simple Green Automotive out and a medium bristle brush....I don't think the tip (chrome) on my car looked so good since I put it on.

They are just the stock aluminum tips...
Now you have me thinking!! (I hate to think.. <img src="gr_grin.gif" border="0"> )
I would imagine that 'any' decent aggressive chemical would make short order of any cleaning job...
Afterall they are not chromed or anything (again, stock tips)...

Re: Does everyone have a hard time keeping.... take some barkeepers friend to them, and they shine for days. i had the corsa, and they were turning yellow. i took a wet rag and some barkeepers friend to em' and i went <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />

I picked up some 'Purple' cleaner this weekend..can't remember exactly what it was..but it didnt work.. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="gr_sad.gif" />
Gotta stay away from that 'biodegradable' stuff.
