!Hood latch cable

Hi,

I hope to get a chance to do the hood latch cable deleate from the hood tomorrow (run it in the wheel arch).

Will I need to shorten the cable if I do this, and I wonder if there are any other tips for doing this mod??
I know there is a hole there already, but I will proberly drill a new one, and use a gromit.

Easy as can be. I drilled a new hole ran it through the wheel well and routed it back to the latch. The hardest part is jacking the car up! No need to shorten the cable or anything. Took me 30 mins. Could do it again in 20.
