Front Coolant Crossover Line Question?

I have a quick question about the front coolant crossover line on a LS1 (02 LS6 style lines)! I want to take mine off and polish it...is it as simple to take off as it looks? Just take the two or bolts off and it comes off? Also does it have gaskets between it and the motor? Are the reusable O-Rings or what? Its better to ask questions first! Thanks!

Yes it is.

You will spill a little coolant thats it.

They have reusable o-rings. And yes the two bolts.

^ is correct. Although couldn't you just find a couple more plugs off a different set of heads ( the ones on the back of the head ) and just do away with it all together?
