I was told that it's $10/month, and you also have to run some funky antenna. I had a Pioneer head unit in my Lightning that was XM ready, and it was a little over $300. I bet you could find it for under $300 on eBay. Just install a set of headers and keep the cutout open. Then you won't need to worry w/ the radio. <img src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" border="0">

Like Trevor said you need an XM "ready" Head Unit then you have to buy the antenna, tuner, and subscribe. The quality is pretty good but not CD quality.

There are a few different ways to get XM.

You can get a Modulated unit that works with any radio.(same as a changer).

Or you can use a Pioneer Radio thats XM ready.

There is also a Sony unit thats more portable.

You do have to have a different antenna. The glass mount is 2 piece and pretty bulky. The roof mount is much smaller , and I prefer to use this one on the f-body's.

Its 15 bucks for activation, 9.99 a month. 100 stations, about 60 commercial free. All in all pretty dam cool. I have it in my car, and I do love it.

If anyone is in the chicago area and will be at the MFBA Dyno at SpeedInc, Ill have the car there and your more then welcome to check it out.

If I can answer any other questions, shoot!

Russ
