Porter Cable & WS6 Hood??
I use the edges of the pad to get the curves of the hood also. the stickers on mine are barely starting to peel ( I have not used the PC on the stickers) so I'm just going to take them off. I would think that eventually the PC will have an effect on the stickers...
More than likely. You start rubbing those things with a polisher there is a good chance they'll start to peel off. At the very least you'll get polish build-up all around the edges. Just avoid that area and work around it.
Also with the PC I would recommend smaller pads, 4"-5.5". Not only do they give you more cut than the bigger 6.5" pads, they also provide better contact around curvy panels because of their smaller size. The valley down the center of the hood you'll have to do by hand as the pads just don't fit in there. Maybe something like the Mothers Powerball for Paint would work in that situation.
