In the AM when your engine is cold (do NOT do this when your engine is warm/hot), spray simple green ALL over the engine bay. Just dont directly spray into the PCM. Let it sit for about a minute or two. Spray it off with water. Start the car up. Let the car run for about a good three minutes. Shut the car off and wipe everything down.
Enjoy your VERY CLEAN engine bay!

How much is and where can I get CD2? I was a simple green/armor all man but its too hard to shine the nooks and cranies of the engine bay. I've heard good things about the CD2 stuff and it seems like it will help when trying to get into the difficult spaces.
Thanks

Well, I am over here in Germany, but I'd assume you should be able to get it at most auto parts stores!! All you do is spray on the pre-cleaner/degreaser, let it sit, and then rinse it off.. Then you spray on the high-gloss stuff, and let it sit!!

Re: Best and easiest way to clean my engine/engine compartment
Since day one I've always kept going over the engine bay with a wet rag and then dried it off, so far its working really well....other than that, if it got really bag, I got a degreaser and I would use simple green, with a light spray on a hose maybe...you really never want to use a direct stream...
