hahhaha trust me, I had that same feeling! Especially when I was cutting into the seats with a sawzall... I was bugging. But once I took that first cut I just had to man up lol

could be possible the description i read of a pioneer said it only needed 3.5 inches of depth so i would have to try it!

you wold have to do it over the trans tunnel because you would be taking out soo much foam. you could definitely do it though.

Yeah the trans tunnel seems like the only place to do it.

So correct me if im wrong but when the seat is folded back up (seating position) these compartment cant be seen?

lol my friend you are starting to catch on to it's brilliance. no you won't be able to see these compartments nor will ppl ever expect you to have a compartment in there.

Its a damn good idea, ill give you that bro

As far as the compartments go, how strong are the doors on them? Will they be able to hold weight when the seat is folded down? I have it folded down sometimes for umm, various reasons

I'm not sure what you're really asking. my hinges are strong.. the doors stay shut because I put the magnetic catch clips..... why would you worry when its folded down, unless you flip your car there should be no problem w/ objects staying in it lol
