Yeah this is a good mod, I'm deff. considering it.. and like you thinking of ways to keep things cold and stuff, so many possibilities.. just have to think of them XD but I think I'll do what was mentioned earlier about slitting the carpet instead of cutting out a piece and then when the box lid is built, use some kind of adhesion to lay it on top of the box so when it's closed, it just looks like your normal carpet, and I'm betting with the carpet how it is factory, kinda curly a little bit, you won't even be able to notice those small slits... completely hidden I like this idea a lot seeing how the cup holders in our cars SUCK.. way to big for any normal drink.. overall one of the best mods I've seen so far, good job on the mod idea. some of 6liters ideas were good too for this mod.

yeah man. I'm most likely going to make one compartment in the middle and use the pre-existing carpet material to cover it.

haha thanks man. Ever since I put this thread in my siggy ppl have been PMing me about doing this for them ... but in a more professional manner..not like mine with exposed paint chipped hinges and instead of using vinyl reusing the fabric in the back as the cover. I'll work on that idea. I'll do my trans am seats soon and post up pics when I'm done to see if ppl willl be interested... but I'm not sure if this would be realistic for the cross-continental America...since shipping fees would be up the wazoola

Yeup! Looks perfect for a QP...****, compress the weed enough you might get a half an LB in there!

Not sure I would do that unless I got a spare back seat. Plus my ride is not a daily, it sits in the garage calling me to come and work her gears!

I talk to my ride, you know. Sometimes, I even wax her tailpipe.

I agree, it looks gay. Who really needs small/cheap compartments on the back of their seats? I don't need to carry around 6 packs of gum and 2 vitamin waters.

Gay means Homosexual, as well as "not cool".

It looks MF tacky, I hope you enjoy making a refrigerator in your seats. WTF? GAY.
