Re: chrome wheels Polished requires more maintenance, and it isn't as brilliant as the chrome. However it is lighter, and will never flake from heat, contaminants, etc. Personally I've had both and once you go chrome it's hard to go back to polished. JMO
Re: chrome wheels Chrome can never compare to a newly polished rim.. Something about a polished rim just looks soooooo good..
HOWEVER.. nothing looks worse than a polished rim that hasnt been fussed over.. and no matter what they will never look quite as good as they did the day they came from the polisher..
But if all things were equal at a car show.. two identical cars.. one with perfect chrome wheels and one with perfect polished wheels I give it to the polished guy.. why? takes more effort and thus is worth more "points"..
Ask yourself whats the finish on the most expensive wheels you can buy? (HRE, Fiske) the answer is polished.. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> too much work for me though.. lol
