Anyone have their windshield tinted?? I am getting my tint redone next week, and the plan so far is 20% sides/rear and 53% windshield.
It's been a while, but I saw a pic of a red firehawk with a tinted windshield and it looked sharp....anyone else have this done and have opinions / pics to post of it.

I haven't seen it on a f-body but a guy I know is co-owner of a tint shop in Kentucky and he came down to MS to visit some family and I had him do the sides of my car and he was great....... to the point..... The car he cam down in was a like a 96 bonneville and it has 35% tint on the windsheild it was pretty much impossible to see inside the car..... I liked it alot! I would like to do that but I probably would get caught with it and have to take it off so now reason for me to do it.

Not sure where your from but the Shops name was "Dirby Tint" I think I'll talk to the guys cousin and see what the name was

Keep in mind that not only is it illegal BUT its also unsafe.. you would loose all the benefit of the safety glass is yours (or someones) head slaps the windshiel in an accident.. I dont know if it would be worth it.. A cop might let you slide on side tint but I doubt they would for it on the windshield..

I used to live in Saipan where a lot of folks tint their windshields and I gotta say it's a crap shoot sometimes driving at night. (on my motorcycle)i wear a clear visor for the same reason... a tinted or reflective one may look real cool, but you cant see worth a **** at night... and i ride alot at night...

tint film does a similer thing on side windows when they break... it holds alot of the pieces together...
