Precautions for painting calipers

Ok.. first off.. does anyone have a suggestion for a tight color caliper on a 2001 pewter ws6? and ten id like to know what precautions(if any) i should take while doing so.

Black, Silver, Charcoal Grey, or Red.

Do a search there is a plethora of info out there already on the do's and don'ts of caliper painting.
