That's exactly how I have mine. I have a small black wire loom attached to the hood, and it runs down right to the same spot as well.
Guess we think alike huh People at car shows love em

I actually ran them INSIDE my hood

the WS6 hoods are made of 2 layers of fiberglass... I snaked my wires in between the two laters from the little hole on the bottom right of the hood near the hood strut bracket all the way to the ram air nostrils... no wires can be seen

I have red LED's in my SS scoop. It fits ok because i have red pinstriping around my manta, I wish i could get something that matches the car better, that blue is perfect on yours.

Ordered it from the dealer, its from the back of a new G6. Fits pretty well and matches the contour of the nose slope. Had to press it down pretty hard though to get it even.

Should have the write up done and posted in the a.m. guys

Well i might as well go ahead and put on the flame suit since i know you guys arent as forgiving as the ls1.com boys but here it is... decided to backlight the nostrils in my ram air. I think it turned out pretty good. I dont plan to use it on the street but i figured it be a neat show trick. Ricey yes, but eh i like it.
Rice!

Sorry had to keep up the LS1tech Reputation

I was getting ready to abuse your flame suit, but I have to say. That thing looks really clean, and well done. I love how it is so close to your car color...
