Default a-pillar shift light

What did you do with the venting that protrudes out of the dash after removal of the a-pillar. looks like it's gonna be in the way?

If I am understanding your question right, all I did was give the plastic tube a tug and it came out from the connection inside the dash. I haven't had any problems with it. Or I guess you can try to cut it.

I just kinda pressed mine down and wedged into the areea behind the dash vent. Its not in the way of the light, and I dont have to worry about trying to get the hose back together if I decide to take the light out.... though im pretty sure its there for good <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

I just pushed mine down. I would much rather leave it there instead of trying to get the piece back in if i needed to for any reason...
