SS carpet in a TA????

I would like to know if anyone knows if the carpet out of and SS would work in a Trans AM? Has anyone done this. TIA.

About 98% sure it will. I cant see what the difference would be.

they should be fine, as long as its is a 98, or maybe 99. as the 2000 or 99+ got the "child safety hooks" in the back hatch panel.

So if your trying to go to ebony interior, you will need custom carpet, or install those hooks to hide the holes in the back

It's a 00 SS.... anyone have any pics of what these hooks look like or how big the holes are? It's the same charcoal grey carpet so I could possibly cut a piece of my old carpet out and fill it.

not a great pic, but it was all i could find, the black hook on the left of this pic, near the screwdriver, there are 2 of these on the 2000+ f-body's for child safety seats.
