Ask me my favorite looking 4th gen and I'll reply with exactly what Torched just posted up. Four-eyed front end and the newer interior? '97 SS Camaros are teh tittays.

If something ever happens and my front end gets jacked up, I'm going to bolt LT1 pieces in place.

Hah, if you want people to know they are getting beat by an LT1, then why change the front end unless you plan on being behind them.

Everyone is entitled to their opinions. If I listened to other people, most likely I'd own a Mustang right now.

It's actually not very much work at all. I was able to get the LS1 front off in a couple hours (at the most). Really, it's a pretty simple project.

Agreed. The LS1 Camaro looks more luxurious than aggressive.

i too prefer the LT1 front ends on BOTH cars. i know i will get flamed for this, but even the T/A WS6's

there is nothing cleaner than a 96-97 (or in my case 95) T/A with the WS6 hood.
I also wish GM would have made a 96/97 RS/SS camaro. take the camaro SS and add the RS's body kit (except for the rear spoiler, leave that SS) not that i would have bought one, i've always been more of a trans am person, i just think it'd be cool to see.

(yeah it's my car, i'm a picture *****, lol)

and as for the RS/SS i know no such thing exists but here's something close to it

although this is the correct RS front facia i was looking for instead of the one above

Ok. Heres my .02

I hate the LS1 headlights, but I dont like the square headlights for LT1s much better.

I love the look of the LT1 SS car, and all I want to add to it, or find a way to add - is the LS1 style SLP front grill to a LT1 style car, that would make it the perfect setup for me, I've had both, and I prefer the LT1 everytime -

LS1 motor wins though. But style is with the lt1

Good call man. Keep at it. I personally hate the "catfish face" (as my gf likes to call them lol) of the 98+ camaros and 100% agree the 93-97 camaro front ends look better. Now its a different story for the firebirds and TA's.. Im just the opposite there. I like the 98+ better. However, i like the 96-97 WS6 better than the 98+ WS6.. lol im a bit crazy I think but thats my .02

I agree.

93-97 = Camaro.
98-02 = Trans Am.

Thank you. I found some old videos of my car on YouTube (the owner before me raced it quiete a bit) and in 75% of the videos the first comment would be "That's an LS1, stop trying to say it's an LT1."

That grille would look good on an LT1, anyone have good PhotoChop skills?

I think neither version is much better than the other but Id say its a good call to go back to your lt1 style better since its an lt1 car. Then when you continue beating on cars you will have the lt1 pride.

that's what I'm talking about, you just made a great choice, ls1 motors are great but lt1 front ends are a hell of a lot better. make sure to add the lt1 style taillights!!!!

You have an LS1? That's going to be sweet.

I guess they figured it was overused, so now it's censored.

I'm guessing that is for 9T8z28?

If it was for me, I already have the LT1 lights. They never came off the car (to my knowledge).

I have been thinking about going to LT1 front on my 98'. But the Headlights just sucks so bad on the LT1's its one of the main reasons I don't pursue it.

But I do prefer the LT1 look over the Catfish.

The biggest reason to switch is the 96-97 SS hood. It looks, just badass. The 98-02 SS hood is kind of boring.
