Default clear corners

what do you guys think of these?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/93-02...Q5fAccessories

im in the market for clear corners and im gonna buy some super white bulbs to eliminate the dull yellowish look. Anyone have any experience with these leaking? my last set leaked and it bugged the crap out of me. I want a set that is 100% moisture free. I have a pewter camaro and am planning on putting some chrome z06 rims on in the future.

I've heard all aftermarket ones are known to leak. Those are the ones I was going to get though.

i like those. i've heard of the leaking as well, just put a small bead of clear RTV around them and they should be good to go.

oh and PS the bulbs im planning on using are PIAA 3157's and PIAA 194. I like them because they are a super bright white when lit and blue when off. I think it will look good seeing the blue through the housing when parked.

Yeah my black corners have melted some too and the one leaked really badly. After sealing it there is just a little fog sometimes and the melted part isn't noticeable.

The ones I had on my car never leaked and I never used any sealant or anything on them.

I can't remember who/where I got them from, but this was ~06.

Same thing happened to me on two different sets, the first set were the clear "oem style" and the second were like the ones in the eBay link.

I gave up and went back to the OEM markers, my last set melted so bad I had to break the housing to get the socket out when I was trying to replace a burned out bulb.

I've never had any problems with mine melting. To those that have melting corners: Did you disable your DRL's?

I think it's really just luck of the draw as far as who leaks and who doesn't. My buddy and I both got ours from New Era Performance and his leak and mine don't. He's taken his out several times to clean them out and try to reseal them but they continue to fill with water and blow bulbs. He's about ready to put the stock orange ones back in.

Mine are disabled, but I work night shift which means I do most of my driving at night so it really won’t make much of a difference.

Bought those exact ones off ebay a few weeks back and they are a bitch to get in! Maybe it's just my car but we did everything possible and couldn't get the stock ones out. Not worth the time for the money in my opinion but do look good if they are in.

It isn't the easiest thing to get the stock ones out. Have to play with it for a while, pull your hair out, keep fiddling and after you've tried just about every angle suddenly they'll just slide out and leave you wondering what you were missing and how they just came out
