Does stock CD HU work with a CD Changer???

Does stock CD HU work with a CD Changer??? My 1998 Z28 has a NON-monsoon system consisting of: cassette headunit, and GM 12 disk changer in the boot. I would like to add a CD headunit and still keep the GM 12 disk changer. Just curious if this was an option in 1998. If not I guess I can buy a standard GM CD headunit and sell the 12 disk changer. Its a pain changing the disks in the changer, much easier when its within arms reach while driving.

Re: Does stock CD HU work with a CD Changer??? No it wont work. Camaro Cd HUs didnt work with the changers til 2000.
