Default Question about detailing Lacquer Paint

Hey guys,

We got a 73 Camaro with a lacquer paint job, no clear coat top layer. Is it still safe to use menzerna intensive polish with the PC on the paint? Or should I use something else?

Also should I use a white/orange pad combo or stick with blue/white for polishing?

The paint job quality is great but it's just got some swirls and needs some shinin' up.

Thanks everyone!

As a rule of thumb, always use the least aggressive product to get the desired results. Also since there is no clear, your pads will have the color of the car on them (this is normal).
