Dash plate question I am waiting for a dashplate from afterthoughtsauto.com and I am wondering how exactly I should go about getting my current "Camaro" dashplate off. Should I just yank that ***** off or is it something that will peel off? Anyone know? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />

Re: Dash plate question the current "camaro" dashplate snaps in. best bet to get that off would be to pull off the whole accesory trim plate, which comes off real easy if you pull just a bit. once the accesory trim plate is out you will be able to snap the "camaro" dashplate out from back. it is a piece of cake.

Re: Dash plate question The "Stock" plastic dashplate snaps off. Very easy. Just gently pull of the radio bezel as the instructions states and you'll easily see how the stock dash plate fits on.
The SLP Metal "Camaro SS" dashplate is stuck on with heavy duty douple sided tape. Need to very carefully peel it off, the metal is rather soft and can bend easily.

today, it looks sweet! for those of you who asked
about pealing the numbers off when your horsepower
changes and putting different numbers in, NO the
numbers are engraved they are not decals. If you not sure of your "numbers" order a blank one and
find the right decals later.
