Re: Anyone replaced their alternator? I replaced mine earlier this year. I bought a brand new one from valvegod@aol.com.
It's a truck 5.3 one. It was cheap. You don't end up reusing the smallest bolt, but it's not load bearing. Works great.

you have to buy one for either the truck engines or a factory alt for the Ls1
