So here's my question now; can I use a scratch/swirl remover after I used Z5 and Z2 or do I have to Dawn the car again and start over?

An abrasive polish is going to remove the sealant. When you're done polishing, you reapply the sealant.

Easiest way to clean your car is to burn it..... jk

I start with Meguiars pro series fine cut cleaner using a rotary, follow up with swirl remover, then use machine glaze. If I want extra shine, I put a layer of meguiars gold class on it. Works fine for me.

Ok cool, I'm going to try to get rid of the swirls and then reapply the Z5 and Z2.

I hope I didn't come off as bashing your prodct, I just misunderstood what they did. I'm sure it'll turn out even better once I use an abrasive polish.

Menzernia make some great polish. Get the paint how you want it and then put about four coat of Zaino Z2 it will blow your mind.

Black cars are a full time job.

Here is how I look at it, if the car is your daily driver its gonna be impossible to keep it perfect all the time. Frequent washing and the elements will cause the finish to have to be corrected more often. If the car is a show car then I would concentrate on getting the cars paint to a perfect finish. For my daily drivers I usually just follow good washing techniques and concentrate on protecting the finish from the elements. I do a paint correction less frequently or if im trading in or selling it. Just my .02 cents!
