Horsepower decals

Horsepower decals
Is it more common for the HP decals to state crank HP or rwhp? Factory decals I know have always stated factory ratings which were supposed to be crank ratings, but which we also know where always pretty underrated.
Basically, my TA has dyno'd 297rwhp (link to dyno graph in my sig). That comes out at 349hp with 15% M6 drivetrain loss. So, would a 300 hp or a 350 hp decal be more appropriate, if I were to get a set? It's more of a curiosity then anything else right now because I don't really have any immediate plans on getting a set, and I'll probably have quite a few more engine mods before I do.

Re: Horsepower decals
www.afterthoughtsauto.com has 345HP decals which is very close to your flywheel HP.

Drivetrain power loss ranges from 15% to 20+%. More than the transmission is involved here (although manuals are more efficient than autos). The rear end design and gearing is also important. For example, a heavy duty Dana will sap more power than a factory 10bolt. There is a good article about it in the November 2003 edition of CarCraft, pages 40-43 (although most of it applies to older vehicles).
As for the original question, I think the 345hp decal is close enough. Or you could skip hp ratings and go with "346CI".

I have some '346 H.O.' decals in silver that would be cool. Email me if you want a set. mark2000ss@comcast.net
