LOL! Yea, Steve has ***** (unlike a lot of brown-nosers I see over there). If you read carefully you'll see he's not breaking Dave's rules. It's like showing off some new rims and not saying where you got them. No harm done but I wouldn't be surprised if Dave deletes it eventually out of spite and crashes the board again. LOL!

All my stuff will be officially licensed by GM as soon as all the paperwork is completed. No big deal.

SLP only has control over the Firehawk logo anyway. Since I/we never used their logo on anything - ever, he really has no say in it anyhow. It seems he jumped the gun and assumed that I was using their logo when in fact we only referred to the 'Firehawk' as a way to describe a certain type of car. That's allowed! If they read it they would have seen that the Pontiac dashplates have no logo. Duh!

Hell yea! Im a f'ing rebel!!!! lol .. but what rules am I breaking?? In fact i specificly state NOT to post where they come from.. ive had many an email conversation with Dave and I think he knows where im coming from.. If the day comes when you cant post anything unless its made but SLP or has a copyright logo on it then the board will become irrelevent.. besides Dave grife is about people trying to sell (or him percieving that) things on the board.. He says he gets grief form GM about the non-copyrighted items but why have none of the makers ever gotten a "Cease and dissit" letter from GM legal??? Its not like they are hard to find.. lol

As far as using the factory numbers.. why?? why would i use numbers that area inaccurate to begin with?? to make vette owners feel better? I have many hours of dyno time to back up what the plaque says.. so I dont see a problem using numbers that my car actually makes.. infact when I do a few more engine mods my plaque will actually be too low.. lol

Hey Mark.. its been reMARKable how many emails ive gotten recently

Oh, as far as switching between the two plaques.. im sure that would be easy to do using magnets to hold each in place (yes, i know the other one is plastic).. think about it

You can buy magnetic tape. I've seen it. Thin strips of magnetic film with adhesive. A strip on the dash and a strip on the dashplate will do the trick.

I'm surprised Dave hasn't banned you and erased all memory (all 2.5 years and over 2000 posts worth) of you from the site. That's a pretty major offense. You should be proactive and e-mail him to ask him to ban you.
