Trans Am: Swapping Graphite Interior for a Tan Interior:
If you have read in another post I am giving up my seats already to my girlfriend. Whenever I look at a Black Ferrari/Porsche/Viper it just seems a little sweeter on the inside. Well after looking at random pics I figured out it is because of the tan interior.
I will be getting corbeau seats so I will just have those leathered tan. Any idea as to where I can get the carpet/dash/ceiling/door/rear interior panels that are in a tan color?
TIA,
Jason Scott
1. Buy new panels from your dealership. Lots of $$$
2. Search junk yards for the parts.
3. Have your exisitng panels covered in new leather and/or vinyl to match new seats. Avati does this to their current cars which are built off of Pontiac TAs.
4. The panels can be painted. There is special paint for coloring the hard plastics. I had it done, unfortunately it did not wear very well and I had the panels replaced on the seats with new.
