Need help from Shaitiger on BMW offsets I love the way your car looks and I'm thinking about either getting the SSr GT3's or Racing Hart M5's. However, I like the way the GT3's look better. This is where I need your help, I know they don't make bolt patterns in 120.68 but they do make them in 120. That's no big deal but I have a question about the offset. Will 19"x8.5" in the front w/ a 24mm offset and a 19"x10" w/ a 43mm offset in the rear work? I want my wheels to look like this car m3 w/ 19x8.5 and 19x10 with a little lip in the front but a big lip in the rear. Thanks

Are you sure they make the 10" in a 43mm. I thought it was only in a 24mm.
If they make it in a 43mm then it SHOULD work. If it's in the 24mm then it will stick out more. I think with my car and 9.5s now, it was gonna be another 1.5" out IF I removed my 1/4" spacer.
The Tire Rack was impossibly difficult to work with to get info with their app specific software. I basically had to tell them I had xxx BMW and even then all they wanted to tell me was that the wheels would fit. I finally had to say, "Look, if I'm gonna spend 2 grand+ on wheels, you're gonna tell me the info I want to know."

Re: Need help from Shaitiger on BMW offsets I had my offsets wrong. They are 43mm for the front 19x8.5 and 24mm for the rear 19x10. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" /> Does that mean they won't fit? WEASEL did you end up getting the GT3's from Tirerack or give up on them?

I've got 9.5s now. I've been leaning towards the Simmons F-Series in 18x9.5s front and 18x10.5s rear.
If I knew that the GT3 10" would fit, I'd be very tempted to order them tomorrow. I believe with that offset though that they would stick out too far. Maybe like 1.5 inches more. I don't know in real terms what that would look like...mildly aggressive or just plain stupid.

Re: Need help from Shaitiger on BMW offsets lol, I think I might have to, do you know anything about Tireracks return policy <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" /> I really don't feel like paying a extra $1000 for Racing Harts when I like the SSR's better. Tire rack is one of our sponsors, shouldn't they meet our needs if enough people want the GT3's. Or at least tell us what we need to know.
