Default export tail light question

is there a way to get the stock tail light harness to fit on a 97-02 camaro. i know you have to kind of force it in but has anyone tried to file it down to get it to fit? on my red car i just changed it to a lt1 harness and that seems the simple way but id rather not touch the harness on my NBM car.

Huh?.....are you installing a set of exports?......or stock lights?......

if it's exports, I ground down the lights themselves, not the housing.......just ever so slightly, you don't need much.....

yeah its the exports. on my red car i just bought a piggy back harness at autozone. but i dont want to cut any wires on this one. so just grind the actual sockets itself then insert them into the housings.

When I had my exports I just used the stock harness and the little plastic tabs on the light bulb housing I just trimmed those instead of screwing with the lights
