did you just paint the face of the panel gloss black or the whole piece? did you do it yourself?

I removed the panel from the car and shot the entire panel.

I then had my buddy cut me a set of stickers to lay in over the CAMARO letters so the orange would be a perfect match.

Brought the panel over to my buddys body shop and shot the panel with base clear.

I think the end result was pretty good

This picture in the link below is where I got on how to do my Manta stripe. I really like this car and it use to be Nineball's car, and I've debated on whether to add the Berger panel on my car in gloss black or not.

And here is a couple pics of my car.

not true... i have had mine (satin) on for over two years and there is not a problem with it. no fading, no chips, nothing.

gloss does not look good...it looks like a replacement part out of a junk yard and that you haven't had a chance to paint it to match.

If you look at it that way, satin looks like you got a panel out of the junk yard and didn't have the money to put clear on it

Its all personal preference, I cleared mine because my manta and sail panel are both gloss black and I wanted it all to match.

I'm gonna have to agree with Camaro Z on this one. The satin look just looks like someone did it that way because they didn't have the time/knowledge/money to paint it the right way. Obviously that isn't always the case, it's just the impression that I get on a lot of cars and it's why I went with a shaved and glossy black berger.
