98 up red hard top TA I am converting my t top car to hard top. I have it all done but paint and glue. I cant make my mind up paint the front black or all red. I liked the way my car looked with the tops but i have never seen a red hard top. I know it was not an option after 93. But they have to be some that has converted. Pics please.....
I think it looks good painted body color and you lose some elements of design when you black it out. If you paint it all black, people wont even be able to tell its hardtop after all your hard work. Keep it the body color. Hardtop was standard up through 97, t-tops were optional. After 98, t-tops were standard on trans ams but firebirds and formulas still got hardtops. you can find plenty of pics of hardtop formies converted or even 93-97 with 98+ clips. Looks great. You need to post pics and a write up!

You won't get very many pictures at all of trans ams with a body colored hard top. Usually people go from hardtop to t-top. Not what you are doing. A body colored hard top stands out to me as a v6, not a trans am.
Oh shut up already. Paint it flush with the body color, it's not a sail panel here..

imo it doesnt look very good body.... but yeah just look for red formulas. that whole area looks the same anyways. i'd bet at most there is 1 other person that belongs here with a red ls1 t/a that has a red hartop.
