Question Steering Wheel Swap

I was driving my friends Grand Prix this past weekend and really liked the steering wheel. It was a bit smaller and the rim was MUCH thicker than in my Trans Am. I was wondering if anyone has swapped out there steering wheel for one of these or how difficult it would be. Are there any how-to's? I have no idea how hard it would be to disconnect a steering wheel with the airbag, etc. Any info you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I did a swap to a quick disconnect wheel. I dont know if you can swap the grand prix wheel to the car but I do know that there are a couple after market adaptors you can get that "might" work.

Don't see why it wouldn't be possible - heck the Camaro steering wheel is out of a 1998 Lumina/Monte Carlo.

i replied to your other post on the other forum.

I have pics of the 2000 grand prix wheel, and a 98-99 trans am wheel, i just took.

if your would like to see them, shoot me an e-mail, or find a place that i can host them

you would need to swap airbags at least.

Ryan.
