Polish the Center Taillight Piece on a Firebird Does someone have a link to the write up on how to polish the rear panel on Firebirds to remove the bird.
The link in the Hall of Fame is broken and I really need to do this today!

First i used isopropel alcohol (im sure you could use laquer thinner too) to get rub the red bird off. (this take alittle bit but once it starts coming off then its not to bad.) Then i took some 1000 grit and wet sanded it smooth followed by 1500 and finally 2000. Finally use maguiar's plast X and polish it to a shine.
