Default Side Splitters ready for sale...

Here we go... My inspiration (hence the wavy line feature as opposed to just a straight edge) was the ZR1:

and Hennessey Camaro:

Without further adieu... (again, pics suck because it was dark but better than nothing, should get day light pics tomorrow):

I made it a little more wavy than the other cars to be a little different, look better than just a triangular piece of plastic, and because it actually goes with different breaks in our body (easier to see in person but I basically copied the design from the shadow the car casts). If you don't like it you can easily knock it down a little...

In the near future I will make canards for the front splitter and the side splitters (they go up on the body a little to channel air around the tires) which is another reason for the shape of the side splitters, I made them bulge out at the back a little to accentuate the canards that will come and to give it a finished look but so far so good

They mount with 5 self tapping bolts on each side and come with nylon spacers. They also have 1" of adjustability built in (to slide more under or out from the car).

Trying to keep the price at $275 shipped, $250 picked up but these f#ckers are LONG, lol! Not to mention I'm still waiting on a set in stone price from Jameel (the guy who gets the plastic and waterjets these for me).

HOWEVER, I'll offer LS1tech members $25 off, so if you want a set paypal $250 to madelisle@yahoo.com and you're good to go

Whenever I offer the canards (hopefully within a week or two) anyone who already ordered a splitter or side splitters (or both, lol) will get a sweet deal

Can we get a shot from the side, like a full side shot? I'm curious to see if there is a gap between the unit and the car, with the spacers.

There's no gap. The floor pan of the car dips up, the spacers are there to fill the gap so the splitter doesn't bow up but the splitter itself and any painted part touch each other with no gap...

Hmm... How much for front and sides together? I am considering this for my black/white themed car.

Hmmmm....it ties in well with the front, just not sure how I feel about it. I like the idea, but it also looks kinda cheap compared to factory type pieces.

Pretty slim to none. Hasn't happen to any splitters (that weren't in an accident). Even if you stepped on it by accident it pops back up. It is 1/4" thick ABS...

Splitters look great on Trans-Ams because they have GFX on the sides. They look good on Camaros, but with this edition to balance it out look even better.

It will look GREAT with the canards to make it more finished looking

Splitter is normally $325 shipped, side splitters $275 shipped. So like $600 normally... HOWEVER...

I'll give you the side ones for the prementioned discount AND if you buy the splitter at the same time I'll give it to you for the GP price of $275 so $525 shipped and I'll eat the paypal fees...

They will still ship separately due to dimensions though...

Not feeling that. Imo they look like they stick out way too far. Could just be the angle of the pics though.

I have them so they are even with the tire that sticks out (that's the point of them and the canards, to direct air around the tires and reduce rolling resistance) but they are adjustable (can slide in or out)...

Yeah I think the canards will help a lot to give it a more finished look. I think that's what it is missing IMO after looking at that ZR1 pic.
